JACINTA WALLER is a 22 year old single mother, with a daughter who has unique health issues. The current cost of living crisis is hitting many younger people particularly hard and she understands what it is like to struggle to make ends meet. She does not know what the future holds for her generation under the current economic system and dislikes the two party system that our democracy has been reduced to. Soaring costs of rentals and housing affordability are of acute concern to many young people. Jacinta believes cannabis legalisation would introduce much needed funding to social and community organisations via taxation on sales, and help alleviate many of the current issues. |
