BRIANNA CORCORAN has been a supporter (and tireless volunteer) of Legalise Cannabis Queensland Party for a number of years and is uniquely connected to it's network and causes through her youth and inter-generational experience. As a young adult, Bri has seen the social and medical benefits of cannabis. With an ADHD and ASD diagnosis in her childhood, she was subjected to many strong and harmful medications, often with nasty side effects, both physically and emotionally. As an adult, Bri sees the essential need for the more gentle and healing, healthier herb. Her goal is to erase the stigma for young and old, to enable everyone to live a better quality of life through legal, affordable use. Providing cheaper scripts with product from local producers with the option to home-grow for oneself or a loved one. Bri is adamant the discriminatory driving laws need to be changed. No other patient use of a medication is so harshly and prohibitively treated, for no good reason and the criminalisation of patients must end. The hemp industry must be expanded to allow farmers to grow more, to boost local employment and create economic growth for the region. |
