SIGNAGE

Local councils regulate election signage and other advertising on locally controlled roads, some state controlled roads and on public property. Each council is able to make its own determination about what election signage is allowed.

The Department of Transport and Main Roads regulates election signage and corflutes on most state-controlled roads. They have an Election Signage page and self-assessment.

The ECQ regulates election signage near polling places. Fact sheet 2 - Election signage covers this topic in detail.
