Over 3.68 million Queenslanders are enrolled to vote. About 150,000 of them voted early on Thursday bringing the total number of early voters for the State Election to just under 1.4 million with one full day yet to be counted. That equates to an average of 153,984 early voters per day across the State.
Of the electorates Legalise Cannabis Queensland is fielding candidates in, the highest turnover of early voters was in Mackay, closely followed by Caloundra, Hervey Bay and Bundaberg not much further behind with figures of 28,202, 27,853, 26,488 and 23,556 respectively.
With all the madness almost over and done for another election, there’s a lot our members, volunteers and voters don’t get to see. Here we have a few montages of the candidates, volunteers and voters from the past two weeks of Early Voting.
