With over 80% of votes counted in the Ipswich-West by-election, the LNP gained what was previously deemed a 'safe' Labor seat! Our candidate, Melody Lindsay, made an oustanding showing, finishing ahead of the One Nation candidate, third, only behind the big two! Well done Melody, earning over 14.5% of the total first preference vote (as at 11am Saturday, 23 March) for the Legalise Cannabis Queensland Party and announcing the Parties arrival on the political scene in Queensland with such a huge result for a grassroots effort!
